It is our policy that every female German Shepherd Dog meets the following requirements prior to breeding:
Female must have good temperament.
Female must be AKC/SV/USA/CKC registered.
Female must have had her hips x-rayed and found clear of hip dysplasia.
Female must have been tested and found negative for Brucellosis and for vaginal infection.
(A licensed veterinarian must do these tests within 10 days of breeding, and proof in writing is to be submitted).
Female must be current on her vaccination and worming.
Female must be free of ticks, fleas, mites and lice.
Stud fee: $____________________
Payment is due in full upon arrival of female. If no tie or artificial insemination (AI) occurs, the stud fee will be refunded.
If a tie or AI occurs, the stud fee will not be refunded.
All fees incurred for artificial insemination are the responsibility of the owners of the female. If breeding occurs, but female fails to become pregnant, the owner of the female must notify us, no later than 60 days after the date of this contract with written veterinarian stating female has not conceived from the tie. A return service will be given without additional stud charge, at the next heat cycle of the above listed female only.
If no litter is conceived after the second breeding, the stud dog owner is under no obligation and stud fee non refunded. A litter consists of two (2) living puppies at birth If the owners of the stud deem veterinary consult or intervention necessary, it is the responsibility of the females owner to pay those fees. The owner of the female will pay for all veterinarian services required.
The owners of the female will not hold the owners of the stud dog responsible for any injuries that are due to her behavior.
