The Royal German Shepherds
This is what some of our Royal Parents have to say about The Royal German Shepherd puppies.
The Royal German Shepherds

Hello Elizabeth,

Hope all is well with you.. We ended up taking Cinco/Atreyu with us. He traveled well and we made sacrifices in our trip to accommodate him with regular breaks along the way.  We wanted Cinco to bond with the family/pack and get used to all the kids in the pack.  He did rather well.  We took him to the vet a couple of days before we left and got the rest of his shots through his first year.  He weighed 37 pounds then.  I am sure he is a little heavier now.
Cinco/Atreyu has turned out to be a very smart an affectionate dog.
He is easy to work with and learns rather well and quickly.  Thanks for having him potty trained.  He has had only one mishap in our home and we think that was due to the vet giving him an antibiotic upon our return as we noticed that he had a cough and was snoring in the night.   We actually boarded him for a few days while we were in Palm Springs and left him in Anaheim where it was much cooler. If today is a good day for you we would like to come and let Cinco see his mommy and most important of all get you paid and finish off the paperwork for the pup.  We are thinking sometime this afternoon around 4ish??? If this works for you let me know(Labor Day)..See you soon Elizabeth

The Royal German Shepherds Update 1-27-11

Rocko is doing awesome and HUGE!  My friends comment on how big he is getting every time they come over.

We are really happy with how well he does with the kids.  We took him to a trainer for a while, which helped.
There is also a doggy day care in town where we take him for some good old socialization that he loves she used to run a german shepherd rescue so she knows exactly what she is doing :)  Rocko is rubbing off on my friends and now at least one is planning to get one!  Ill be sure to give her your number if she does.  Happy New Year!

Hi Liz,
Thank you for your email. I have some more pictures of Jordi that I need to get posted! He is growing growing growing! He is about 24" tall and weighs about 55-60 pounds. His coat is turning shiny black with red undertones. He has completed all of his vaccinations. Now we are deciding about the neuter. Do you have any thoughts on that? We are not sure if we want to "stud" him...I think breeding is a hugh responsibility that we might not be ready for.
We did not have much problem completing his potty-training. After he got his own "place" he seemed to get the hang of it. Now we know the signs. He is very good about going potty before going for a ride in the truck and he usually goes right after he is "sprung" from the outdoor kennel. He has an indoor kennel as well and likes to spend some time with us gnawing on a good bone or playing with his squeaky toy while we eat dinner (we eat in front of the TV just like all good Americans ! lol) Our neighbors are relocating and donated some more kennel panels to us so now Jordi has an outdoor space that is as big as our house! I feel much better about him having more room to roam while we are at work.
We enrolled Jordi in a beginning obedience class with CJ's Dog Training. Last night was his first night and I  was exhausted. I am the handler since I have the most problem controlling Jordi. He minds Joey pretty well but we have a ways to go...Jordi is so smart though. He learned "sit" pretty early. Joey taught him to "wait" and "shake". I taught him to "plotz" which is to lay down. Jordi goes for rides in the truck and does quite well. We took him to the beach last week. Boy, was he intrigued by those seagulls!
It was good to hear from you. I hope you and the family (dogs included!) are doing well!

Hi Elizabeth

Sorry if this crashes your computer lol, but here are a few shots of Rocko and good times.  My husband took him and Luna to the dog park today, which was a big hit.  Also, I get a kick out of walking him because all the little kids go oh wow!  Thats a German Shepherd puppy, huh?

Im getting twice as much exercise because I cant walk both dogs together yet.  Rocko gets too excited about being out with Luna and goes nuts. :)
Lovin Rocko, thank you so much! Steph

Hello Elizabeth,

I am wondering who does your ear tattoo work?? I found a black female pup and wanted to get her ear tatted however she is 10 weeks old. Don't know if that is too old now….

Anyways Cinco has taken his new friend rather well. He shows dominance but little Nikita is holding her own. She is Czech/DDR lineage and is already showing smarts and not backing down from a dominant male/Cinco……

Cinco turned 7 months old and continues to grow. He is a smart Shep and has bonded rather lovingly with me and his pack of 5 kids and Steph. He continues to want to work and learn what I am teaching him. I really appreciate the time you spent with him and training him. I am beginning to see how much work you guys did with your pups with our new Nikita who was raised outside in rural Damascus.

Hope your Thanksgiving went well.

If you could let me know about the tattoo issue I would appreciate it. Thanks.

Rick
